Convocation is a very special event that brings together graduates and members of the University of Ottawa community.

For graduating students, it is a time to celebrate their accomplishments in front of family and friends. And for members of the University community, it is a time to celebrate the efforts of students they have supported during their studies at the University of Ottawa.

There are two convocations each academic year: one in June and one in October. The next convocation ceremonies will take place from June 17 to 20, 2016 for the spring session and on Sunday, October 23, 2016 for the fall session. All ceremonies take place in the beautiful setting of Southam Hall at the National Arts Centre.
