**** A student registered for a supplemental exam which is written outside the University of Ottawa is responsible for expenses incurred at the visiting institution.

****** 50% financial credit, less administrative changes, applies only when students are registered exclusively to thesis and when they were registered in the previous session.

(1) Access to courses as a special student is limited. Consult the web site of the Faculty or School concerned for further information.

(2) Courses begin September 7, 2010 at the Faculty of Law- Common Law section. Courses begin January 4, 2011 at the Faculty of Law - Common Law section and Droit civil section (Second and Third Year courses).

(3) Exam period – It might be necessary to hold exams at night for day courses and vice-versa. Examens might also be planned during the weekends during daytime or nightime.

(4) Rights to supplemental exams in "Droit civil"  and common law as well as the supplemental exam dates are determined by the Faculty of Law.

(5) During the Fall Study Break, courses offered by the faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Sciences, Engineering, Health Sciences,  Law (Droit Civil section only), and the Telfer School of Management are cancelled.  However, some exceptions may apply in certain disciplines in both undergraduate and graduate studies. Co-op internships and other clinical or non-clinical placements are still taking place.  During the Winter Study Break, courses offered by the faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Sciences, Engineering, Health Sciences, Education, Law (Droit Civil section only), and the Telfer School of Management are cancelled.  However, Co-op internships and other clinical or non-clinical placements are still taking place.

(6) On Wednesday, December 8, 2010, students must follow their Monday course schedule. Courses normally held on Wednesday, December 8, will not be held.

 (7) Clinical placements offered on all campuses and regular courses offered in Pembroke, St-Boniface and Wookroffe are still taking place.
