Accept your Offer of Admission
|
| |
To register for courses with the intention of pursuing a degree, you must first be admitted to a program and have accepted your Offer of Admission. |
| |
|
 |
Plan your course selection and schedule
|
| |
- Each degree program has its own specific course requirements (classes you must take).
- For certain programs, sequences are presented as suggestions only because different course sequences are possible for some programs. However, since some courses are prerequisites for other courses, in these instances, it is important that you follow the recommended sequence published on your faculty's Web site.
- In addition, most compulsory level-1000 courses should be taken in your first year, and similarly for courses at the 2000-, 3000-, and 4000-levels.
- Some courses include discussion groups (DGD), laboratory instruction (LAB), or tutorials (TUT). Because these are an integral part of the course, you must choose a section for each required activity, and register for these at the same time as the lecture (LEC).
- Consult the information available on your program of studies as well as the courses offered in your undergraduate faculty or school calendar.
- Print out the “Full report” of the required courses for your program in the “Audit section” of Rabaska.
- Many classes have more than one section. This means the same class is offered at different times, and is usually taught by different professors. You can choose whichever section you like as long as there is space available.
- Make your course selection using the online course calendar, which will be available in Rabaska when your registration period starts.
TIP: Back to back classes are possible:
Classes usually end 10 minutes earlier than the indicated time so that you can get to your next course. This means that you can schedule your classes back to back and have plenty of time to get to your next one.
