Student classification

Undergraduate students

Students registering for the equivalent of 12 or more credits during a given session ¹ will be considered full-time students and must pay full-time tuition and incidental fees. Those registering for less than 12 credits will be considered part-time students and must pay part-time tuition (on a per credit basis) and part-time incidental fees. Part-time fees in the case of non-credit (N/C) courses are determined according to the number of weekly hours of formal lectures or equivalent.

Graduate students

Graduate students declare their classification when signing their registration forms. The classification cannot be changed after the deadline published in the Sessional Dates. For details please consult the calendar of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

NOTES

1. For purposes of fee assessment and classification, courses taken as an auditor are not included in the student classification and special fees apply.
