Campus tours

Students planning to register for undergraduate studies at the University of Ottawa have many opportunities to learn about our institution and programs, such as campus tours. Our campus tour offers an overview of the University of Ottawa's main campus.

Campus tour schedule

Campus tours at the University of Ottawa take place six days a week, Monday to Saturday.

Campus tours in English

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 1:30 p.m.
Tuesday: 10:15 a.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m. weekly

Campus tours in French

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 10:15 a.m.
Tuesday: 1:30 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m. weekly

Register at uOttawa day

Campus tours begin in Tabaret Hall, in front of room 101 and last about an hour and a half. Once you have completed your campus tour registration, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with parking and tour information.

Group tours

If you plan on visiting the University of Ottawa with a group of 10 participants or more, simply complete the online registration form for group tours and we will contact you shortly to arrange the details of the tour. We ask that you request the group tour at least five working days prior to your selected date so that we can accommodate your request.

Exceptions to normal tour schedule

  • Registration for tours is not required during Fall Open House (October 18 and 19, 2013) and Spring Open House (March 15, 2014)
  • There will be no residence tours from April 30 to May 5, as well as on May 23 and 24, 2014.
  • Campus tours will not be offered on statutory holidays and on the following dates:
    • Family Day: February 17, 2014
    • Easter Holidays: April 18 and 21, 2014
    • Ambassador spring training : May 5, 2014
    • Victoria Day: May 19, 2014
    • Canada Day: July 1, 2014
    • Ambassador summer break: August 2, 2014
    • Civic Holiday: August 4, 2014
    • August 31 to September 9, 2014 (inclusively)
    • Thanksgiving: October 11 and 13, 2014
    • Christmas holiday (inclusive): December 21, 2013 to January 6, 2014
    • Ambassador team training: January 18, 2014
